Shadow Cut, a homemade “font”

Shadow Cut is a homemade font that I created by hand-cutting out letters from paper, setting them up in a room, lighting them to form shadows on the wall, and then photographing the shadows. I love how the middle areas of the filled letters, like the “a” and “g” appear in darker shadow as a result of the way the light wrapped around the letters.
